Join us at Southern Woods Plantation in Sylvester, Georgia, for the Greater Atlanta Safari Club Annual Autumn Quail Hunt. Southern Woods is a picturesque, Old South-style hunting preserve between Albany and Tifton and one of Georgia’s finest hunting venues. Southern Woods offers deluxe double accommodations for your relaxation and enjoyment. Southern Woods provides a pro shop with premium shotguns, ammunition, hunting clothing, and more.

Hunt Georgia’s famous bobwhites with professional guides and well-trained dogs while riding to each hunting field in a hunting plantation-style Jeep. Guided hunts are on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Relax after the Saturday afternoon hunt at an open bar and camaraderie with some of Georgia’s best quail hunters!

In addition to meals, deluxe accommodations, and an open premium bar, this hunt includes well-seasoned guides, excellent trained bird dogs, and unlimited birds, already cleaned and packaged for the freezer or the kitchen. All sleeping rooms are double accommodations, however you may reserve a single room accommodation for a $100 surcharge.

Itinerary:

• Arrive at 11 am on Saturday, November 18th, 2023. Get settled in your room and enjoy a delicious lunch before the Saturday hunt.
• Complimentary clay shooting is available to warm up before hunting each day.
• Return from the afternoon hunt and relax at the premium open bar while recounting the day’s hunt with your hunting companions.
• Dinner is served around 7:00 p.m. and is always exceptional! Expect to be pampered by the wait staff. Wine is served with dinner.
• After an outstanding dinner, multiple flat-screen TVs are available in both lodges to view football games on Saturday night while enjoying your favorite beverages.
• On Sunday morning, after a hearty country breakfast, you will hunt that morning. After the morning hunt, you will be treated to a large southern-style lunch before you depart.

Be sure to bring a cooler for all the birds you will be taking back home, or you can buy a cooler from Southern Woods in their well-stocked pro shop.
